Tomato Basil Tart
Directions
Combine flour and salt, add in butter and egg yolk. Add cold water to make smooth dough. Press into a tart pan. Prick sides and bottom of dough with fork. Bake pastry at 375 degrees for 10 minutes (until light brown). Remove pastry from oven and reduce heat to 350 degrees.
Arrange Mozzarella cheese over pastry shell. Layer tomato slices, overlapping slightly. Dip basil leaves in olive oil, arrange on top of tomatoes. Sprinkle garlic on top, drizzle with remaining olive oil. Bake for 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees. Cover with foil for first 20-25 minutes to prevent over browning. Serve warm and with love!
